Katsdon’s Little Theater is not the oldest theater on the West coast, but it certainly comes close. Not to mention the extensive history it harbors. Located off Mainstreet it often brings many townsfolk for weekly $1 Tuesday night showings of new and classic movies. It is also frequently rented out on thursday nights for entire Naval crews. A sea of white and blue uniforms will cheer and boo the good and the villains and munch down a metric ton of fresh buttered popcorn in hhe process. They leave a mess but the weekly sold out showings is the main income that the Little Theater brings in. The theater has a resident boxer dog named Rocky (Yes, after the hit boxing movie) who frequently attends the showings and always finds comfort in seat E5. No one takes Rockys seat, even in a sold out showing one fellow will sit in the aisle out of respect.
